L shaped bunk beds make a great alternative to traditional bunk beds, and can really make a room look modern and well thought out. They also let you make interesting use of the space available. Of course, you don't have to use both bunks as beds - the lower one can make a really good lounging area, doubling up as a bed for sleepovers or guests.Thuka make their beds to be as adaptable as possible, allowing you to add as much or as little to the basic design as you wish. The set up pictured on here shows the L shaped bunk arrangement with an additional side desk fitted as a bedside table for the lower bunk, along with a set of under-bed drawers and a ladder rail on the slanting ladder - all available to add to your order from the accessories tab. Don't forget to add mattresses - the beds can be pretty uncomfortable without them!But why stop there when you can add wardrobes, chest of drawers - you can even adapt the height of the supporting beam to have a desk at chair height.
